Purpose: This Policy describes how your personal information may be collected when you visit our Website. It also describes how your personal information may be used, when it may be disclosed, and the steps we take to prevent unauthorized use or disclosure.
Collection of Personal Information: You can browse www.connectthearts.com without telling us who you are, or by revealing any personal information such as your name, address, telephone number or email address. However, we will collect personal information if you choose to use and engage with the Website. Personal information means information that can directly or indirectly identify you or other individuals. This typically includes information such as your name, address, email address, and telephone number, but can also include information such as IP address, shopping habits, information about health, information about your lifestyle or preferences such as your hobbies and interests. If you chose not to provide such information, your participation will be limited. If, at any time, you would like to cancel your registration, you may delete your account at any time upon written request to CTA.
Additionally, the Website may also use “cookies” and pixel tags in certain areas to collect information. A “cookie” is a very small piece of information that tells our site that you have visited previously. Our site will send the “cookie” file to your browser. If your browser is set to accept cookies, the “cookie” will be stored as a file on your computer’s hard drive, and often takes up to 200 bytes of disk space. The “cookie” acts like an identity card each time you visit our site. Only our site can read the “cookie”; we cannot read “cookies” sent by other sites. We automatically track certain information based upon your behavior on the site. This information about your behavior on the site is used by us so that we may better serve you and provide the products you wish. Users may set their browsers to block cookies, including cookies associated with CTA, or to indicate when a cookie is being sent by CTA; however, CTA services may not function properly if cookies are blocked.
