Connect the Arts Statement of Intent Regarding User Control of Personal Information: Soulwork Source, Inc., operating as Connect the Arts (“CTA”), respects your privacy and personal information that you provide through our website (the “Website”).

This includes your name and your email (e.g., pre-populated into responding emails, in order to facilitate communication between users) and any other information you choose to publish or to share with others. Users may delete previously posted personal information and profile page content (except for email address, password, and name, which are required for CTA participation). Users may terminate their CTA account, thereby deleting the user’s personal information and profile page content in accordance with the CTA Terms of Use.

There is no implied guarantee of privacy except as expressly stated in this Privacy Policy with respect to non-public personal information (such as your password, if such information is maintained by the user as non-public).

Personal Information Related to Children: Consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act, CTA is committed to protecting children’s privacy on the Internet. The Website is intended for adults at least eighteen years old or representatives of those individuals under eighteen (such as child actors and musicians, high school students, or associated groups). We do not intend to, or knowingly, collect, use, or disclose personal information (including online contact information) of children under the age of 13 (unless expressly authorized by an adult representative or guardian), and we encourage parents or guardians to monitor children’s online activities. If we are aware of a child under the age of 13 attempting to register on the Website (without an adult representative or guardian), we will not accept the registration. Changes to This Policy: CTA reserves the right to revise and modify this Policy from time to time without notice. A user’s continued use of the Website after such revisions and modifications shall be regarded as an acceptance of CTA’s updated Policy. CTA may also modify this Policy by sending users a courtesy message identifying the update of CTA’s Policy, after which a user’s continued use of the Website shall be regarded as an acceptance of CTA’s updated Policy. We will endeavor to post on the bottom of the Policy the date that it was last modified and to provide further notification of changes in the Privacy Policy in the Privacy section of the Website.  CTA users should periodically visit the Privacy section of the Website to review the Privacy Policy to see if it has changed. Notifications Regarding Death or Non-Usage. If requested to do so by next of kin or another individual with power of attorney or executory authority, CTA will terminate a deceased person’s CTA account (i.e., remove the deceased person’s personal information and profile page content). CTA may choose, in its own discretion to terminate a deceased person’s CTA account without a formal request, but assumes no obligation to do so. Other information left by the deceased person on the Website will not be removed unless deleted by other CTA users. Likewise, a CTA user representing a business or organization can terminate the business’ or organization’s CTA account at any time and should do so if the business or organization no longer exists. CTA may terminate a business’ or organization’s CTA account if CTA has reason to believe that the business or organization no longer exists, but assumes no obligation to do so.
